Blogger On A Baked Beans Budget

Hey Folks,

I’m just going to get straight to the point I can’t afford to be a good blogger right now. Well, good fashion and beauty blogger anyway, I can give you all the lifestyle posts you want, that won’t cost me a penney.

You see to be real with you, I could really do with one of those trees where money grows, a garden full of them. Having moved out saving for rent, bills, groceries and now for New York later in the year (first world problems or what), it’s just not easy. I’m sure most of you reading this are in the same boat. Before moving out I was a serial shopper. I shopped every week for myself not caring how much I spent, never having to have money aside for anything. I was all ME ME ME ME ME, just how I liked it. Now if I buy anything I instantly feel guilty. Instead of buying that top I could have put that money towards upcoming bills etc. Being an adult is God damn hard guys!

Especially when being a blogger is concerned. Like I said, blogger or not shopping is my jam, spending my money on food and clothes is what I do best, I can make it rain. Blogging costs money, it ain’t cheap. You need to spend money to get something out of it. Be it on a new product to review or the latest must have shoes to style. It can be so hard to keep up with it, especially when you have other priorities.

I want to be able to buy new products that come out to trial for you guys, before you waste your money on something that might not be worth it…that’s what I’m here for, that’s my job. More so for when it comes to outfit posts, my favourite thing to do. I want nothing more than to buy everything I have my eye on to feature in new posts, but I can’t. I’m unsure weather to do outfit posts in older clothes because if you see something you like you can’t buy it. I can only give you style inspo, which is good too I guess.

Jeans/Boots/Jumper: Penneys || Jacket: Boohoo || Hat: Foot Locker
I’m not one of those bloggers that are affiliated with brands or get sent every item under the sun. I’m just your average girl who blogs as a hobby, a little fish in a little pond, totally happy with that. Maybe I’m being hard on myself but I just want to be the best I can be for you guys. At least I know others are in the same boat so I can bring you the best on a budget. I really think I should change my name to the title of this post, it’s very fitting.
